We want you to be confident in every order. Here's exactly how returns, exchanges, and refunds work.
CHANGE OF MIND
If you change your mind after placing an order, you may request a full refund within an hour of purchase. After this window, please reach out to see if your order has already started and we will do our best to reverse it otherwise the standard return policy applies (see below).
To cancel within this window, contact us immediately at info@redactedamericana.com with your order number.
WRONG SIZE — EXCHANGES
Ordered the wrong size? We'll exchange it for the correct one, provided:
- The item is unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition
- Original tags/packaging are still intact
- The exchange request is made within 7 days of delivery
Exchanges are subject to size availability. If your requested size is out of stock, we'll offer a refund instead.
NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR ORDER
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns for a refund within 7 days of delivery, provided:
- The item is unworn and unwashed
- Original tags are attached
- The item is in its original packaging where possible
Refunds are issued to your original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If your item arrives damaged or defective, that's on us. Contact us at info@redactedamericana.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage.
We will offer, at your choice:
- A full refund, or
- An exchange for the same item
No return shipping cost will be charged to you in this case.
HOW TO START A RETURN OR EXCHANGE
- Email info@redactedamericana.com with your order number and reason for return
- We'll confirm eligibility and provide return instructions
- Ship the item back in its original, unworn condition
- Once received and inspected, we'll process your refund or exchange
PROCESSING TIME
Refunds are processed within [5-10 business days] of us receiving and inspecting the returned item. You'll receive a confirmation email once your refund or exchange has been processed.
RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
- Return shipping is covered by the customer for all change-of-mind, wrong-size, and not-satisfied returns. For damaged or defective items, we cover return shipping in full.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
- Items marked Final Sale at checkout are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund, except in cases of damage or defect. Please review sizing carefully before purchasing final sale items.
